Eagle Eye Estate Reserve Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 is 100% from our Estate AlphaWOLF Vineyards. There is no normal in wine grape growing. Every year is different. 2019 was a bit cooler than other years with a heat spike coming the end of September to finish the ripening. The extended hang time allowed the flavors to develop. We picked in the middle of October at its peak development highlighting its unique character. The addition of 9% Petit Verdot provided the deep purple color, soft acids and layers of complexity.  Ripe black berries, dark cherries and black currants are present in the aromas and the mouthfeel is silky fruit in the mid palate.  The finest French oak barrel aging smooths out and adds vanilla to the long, fruit driven finish...A beautiful, elegant wine in perfect balance.
